In 1983, KTVH call letters changed to KWCH and ownership was consolidated with three other Kansas stations in the market. In 1956 station facilities were moved to the current location on 37th St. The station was licensed to and broadcast from Hutchinson, Kansas about 45 miles northwest of Wichita.
